About

Bryan has spent the last seven years teaching human and sport performance coursework, including Biomechanics, Performance Enhancement Programming, Exercise Physiology, Introduction to Performance, and Evidence-Based Practice.

Before that, Bryan earned his MS in Human and Sport Performance with an Emphasis in Applied Sport Science while completing a Graduate Assistantship as a Sport Performance Coach from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2013. He also received a BS in Fitness Management from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2012.

Bryan is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. Additionally, he is a member of the National Academy of Sports Medicine, holding certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist. His research centers on the alignment of the pelvis and core musculature contributions to power production in anaerobic athletes. His research also explores the nutritional habits of in-season athletes, specifically wrestling and volleyball. Other interests include the fatigue impacts on jumping performance and increasing the amount of research literature in under-resourced populations.

In his spare time, Bryan enjoys fishing, weight training, watching football, smoking meats, cooking, and relaxing with his wife and dogs.
