These words were true in 1928, when the Sisters of Mercy provided a gift to our community and to generations of women and men by establishingMount Mercy Junior college.
The Sisters established Mount Mercy to unite people with opportunity through education. As we celebrateeducating women and men with compassion and competence, we marvel at the changes that have occurred on campus and in our world, as well as the changes we have made in our students’ lives.
For nearly 90 years, alumni, parents and friends of Mount Mercy have given generously to continue the Sisters’ vision of blending faith and values with liberal arts learning and professional preparation.
