有些人可能知道她叫阿什·卡什，有些人可能只知道她叫阿什莉·莎莉。

莎莉是一名篮球运动员，她的绰号是阿什·卡什，因为她能投三分球。 Ash是Ashley的缩写，Cash是指在球场上投球的人。

莎莉是堪萨斯州爱奥拉市艾伦社区学院的大四转学生。 从人口超过50万的大城市密尔沃基搬到人口约为5000人的小城市堪萨斯州的爱奥拉，对莎莉造成了不小的影响。

"As an African American woman, I represented the 10 percent of Iola’s minority population, this made for a hard time adjusting to the new environment," said Sally.

她和父母以及两个兄弟姐妹一起在威斯康星州密尔沃基的内城长大。 萨莉是三个孩子中排行中间的。

“Whenever I tell people I’m from Wisconsin, they always think Wisconsin is just farming, it’s really not like that. I grew up in a large city,” said Sally.

“Where I’m from, a lot of different types of people I grew up with, didn’t really get the chance or opportunity to be successful because of their environment and what that holds for them. I’m breaking many statistics being here and I’m proud of it.”

She is currently attending 皇冠体育 as an 英语 major and is the small forward on the women’s basketball team. 小前锋通常比大前锋小，但通常更灵活，投篮也更好。

今年五月，莎莉完成了英语专业的本科学业，她想上研究生院，但她不确定自己想要追求什么。

“I was so involved with basketball my entire life that I never stopped to realize you have to pick something else other than basketball,” said Sally.

Sally也是黑人学生会的主席，也被称为BSU俱乐部。 她成为俱乐部主席，因为她觉得自己有责任领导这个组织，因为它代表了她作为少数民族的身份。 该俱乐部参与校园周围的活动，是校园里少数民族经营最多的俱乐部之一。

莎莉打三份工，其中两份在学校。 她在蓝迪健身（Lundy Fitness）担任助理助理和前台职员，还在塔吉特百货（Target）工作。 她的爱好包括看网飞，有空时健身。

“I’ve seen every good show on Netflix and I’d bet anyone money on that,” said Sally.
